If you want to mount your blockout Double Roller Blinds inside the window recess, follow these steps:
1. Use a tape measure to measure the inside width of the window recess in millimetres. Take measurements at the top (position 1), middle (position 2) and bottom (position 3) of the window.
2. Next, measure the inside height of the recess from top to bottom in three places: left (position A), centre (position B) and right (position C). Record the smallest of the three width and height measurements. These are the figures you'll enter on our website. Choose Recess in the Mount option box. Do not deduct any measurements for clearance — we'll do that for you! We typically deduct 4mm for recess mount Roller blinds for a perfect fit.
If you prefer to Outside Face Mount your Dual Roller Blinds onto the wall or architrave instead, here’s what to do:
Decide how wide you want the blind to cover the desired area. This could be from architrave to architrave or with specific overlaps on each side. Measure the height where the blind will hang, from the top overlap to the bottom overlap point. Provide these exact measurements when ordering. Keep in mind that blinds specified as Face Mount will be made to these exact dimensions without any deductions.
